Bluefins Swimming is a purpose-built swim centre in Ringwood, Hampshire, serving families across Dorset and the surrounding areas. It is a place where community, confidence, and learning come together. Founded by Anna and Sophie, both lifelong instructors, Bluefins set out to make swimming accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Bluefins swimming website homepage design showing clean layout and booking-focused structure

Designed to guide parents from first visit to booking without friction.

They came to us needing a website that reflected the warmth of their new facility, while also making it effortless for parents to explore classes and book free lessons online.

We designed and developed a modern, conversion-focused website that showcases their story, builds trust quickly, and guides visitors towards taking action. Clear CTAs, fast-loading pages, and parent-friendly navigation helped them generate 40+ enquiries within the first 24 hours of launch, while also climbing into the top 3 positions on Google for key local search terms.

Built for busy parents browsing on mobile, with clear next steps at every stage.

Why this worked (and why most websites don’t)

Most small business websites fail for the same reason: they look fine, but don’t guide people towards taking action.

For Bluefins, the difference came down to structure. Instead of overwhelming visitors with information, the site was designed to answer the right questions in the right order, building trust first, then guiding users towards booking.

This is the same approach we apply across our web development work in Poole and Bournemouth, where the goal isn’t just to “launch a website”, but to create something that actively generates enquiries.

What made this project particularly rewarding is how quickly the new structure started working. The site isn’t just visually stronger, it gives parents clarity straight away, helping them understand what’s on offer and what to do next without friction.

And while we can talk about the results, it’s always more useful hearing it directly from the people using the site day to day.
